Photo Blog: Loire Valley

I think the castles in Loire Valley must have been the inspiration behind many of the Disney princess movies. I definitely felt the child inside me perk up at the sight of grand and historic Chateaus. Loire Valley was my favorite place on my two month trip through Europe. Check out the photos below:

I hope I can go back to Loire Valley and visit the other dozen or so chateaus. I had so much fun exploring this area, and recommend that if you go in the summer to take one of the many bike routes between the chateaus. The country side is just as beautiful.

This is my last photo blog for Euroscoop. Thank you for following my journey. I wish everyone safe and happy travels. If you have a travel blog, please share the link below so I can check it out! Also, tweet me your favorite place you've ever visited to @danielle0090 using #besttrip

Photo Blog: Versailles

Wow! Versailles is a truly amazing. I loved all of the history while touring the palace, and the grounds are visually spectacular. However, my favorite part was probably the Domaine de Marie Antoinette, where the active animal farm and productive gardens make you feel like you're stepping into the distant past. Below are a few of my photos:

By the way, the combined metro and train ticket to get to Versailles from Paris was only 3 euros each way. I thought that was pretty amazing unto itself!

Photo Blog: Paris

I think Paris' reputation speaks for itself. It's a lovely city, and there is plenty to see to fill up several days of touristy fun. Below are a few of my photos.

They say Paris is the 'city of love'. What do you think? Would you spend your honeymoon in Paris?

Photo Blog: Brugge

Brugge (aka Bruges, Bridges, Brugje) is a lovely city in Belgium, sometimes called the "Venice of the North". It certainly has that fairy tale atmosphere, with a mixture of delightful architecture and history. With waffles and chocolate shops on nearly every street, you certainly won't go hungry either. I bought a lot of chocolate "souvenirs" to bring home to my family :) I recommend you visit Brugge on a sunny day to fully appreciate the beauty.

Here are a few of my photos:

What Belgium delight do you prefer more: Belgium Waffles or Belgium Chocolate?

Photo Blog: Venice

Venice, Italy is a unique city. Cars aren't allowed beyond a certain point, so to get anywhere quicker than walking, you'll need to take a "water taxi". You won't regret it. The views on the way to your destination will make up for the 4 to 12 euro cost. Venice is beautiful. The people are wonderful. It should definitely be on everyone's bucket list.

Here are a few photos from my visit:

Photo Blog: Verona

Verona, Italy is simply beautiful. I feel like I could have walked around the city for days. I see why Shakespeare chose this city as his setting for Romeo & Juliet, and look forward to re-reading the play now that I've seen the city. Below are a few of my photos:
